Cantorum Choir is a dedicated and talented choir of approximately forty voices, based in Cookham, Berkshire. Under the directorship of Oliver Gooch, the ensemble continues to earn itself a reputation as one of the leading chamber choirs in the area.
Cantorum enjoys a wide-ranging repertoire and performs four professional-quality concerts each year, plus other ad hoc events. In recent years these have included performances in Eton College Chapel, Canterbury and Worcester Cathedrals, All Saints Marlow and Holy Trinity Cookham, with future plans also for Taplow Court and St Michaels Bray.
The choir rehearses in Cookham for six weeks prior to each concert. Rehearsals take place on Monday nights and the last two Friday nights, 7.45pm-10pm.
Cantorum proudly donates to a variety of good causes. This year we shall be supporting Cruse Bereavement Care and Sepsis UK.
