We were truly delighted with our ‘Messiah’. It is a vast work, and our Musical Director’s project was to perform the piece in its entirety – minus a very few cuts – at the time of year and with the kind of choir, orchestra and soloists originally intended by Handel and his librettist Jennens.

The whole concert proved taut, thrilling and full of disciplined energy, and by the end of the evening everyone, singers, players and audience alike, knew that they’d experienced something special.
